Correction: Erreur de mise à jour Windows 0x8024402f

Microsoft publie des mises à jour Windows assez fréquemment. La plupart de ces mises à jour contiennent des correctifs et les dernières fonctionnalités. Cependant, vous pouvez parfois voir une erreur lors de la tentative d'installation / de téléchargement des mises à jour Windows. Le message d'erreur que vous verrez sera quelque chose comme ça

Ce message d'erreur empêchera l'utilisateur de mettre à jour Windows.

Cette erreur se produit lorsque certains des fichiers CAB sont endommagés. Il peut y avoir plusieurs raisons de corruption, mais la plus probable est que votre FAI a mis en cache les mises à jour Microsoft (il n'a donc pas à les télécharger encore et encore) et que certains de ces fichiers ont été corrompus.

Assurez-vous que votre application antivirus est désactivée ou désactivée. Chaque application antivirus a une option de désactivation dans son panneau principal ou ses paramètres. Les applications antivirus sont connues pour causer des problèmes avec les mises à jour Windows.

Mais avant de passer aux solutions, assurez-vous que le réglage de la date et de l'heure de votre système est correct. De plus, si vous utilisez plusieurs cartes réseau, désactivez la carte qui gère le trafic interne et laissez l'autre allumée, qui connecte le système à Internet. Si vous utilisez .NET Framework, désinstallez-le ou mettez-le à jour. Essayez également de désactiver IPV6 de votre système.

Méthode 1: réinitialiser les composants Windows Update

La première chose à faire est de réinitialiser vos composants Windows Update. Cela a fonctionné pour de nombreux utilisateurs et résout le problème 99% du temps.

La toute première chose à faire est d'arrêter les services BITS, Windows Update et Cryptographic. Suivez les étapes ci-dessous pour arrêter ces services.

1. Appuyez sur la touche Windows , tapez l' invite de commande dans la zone de recherche Windows .
2. Cliquez avec le bouton droit sur l' invite de commande dans les résultats de la recherche et sélectionnez Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur.
   
3. Tapez net stop bits et appuyez sur Entrée
4. Tapez net stop wuauserv et appuyez sur Entrée
5. Tapez net stop appidsvc et appuyez sur Entrée
6. Tapez net stop cryptsvc et appuyez sur Entrée
   
7. Naviguez maintenant et supprimez le contenu du dossier suivant:

   C: \ Windows \ SoftwareDistribution \ Télécharger

8. Maintenant, vous devez supprimer un fichier .dat. Pour supprimer ce fichier, tapez

   Suppr "% ALLUSERSPROFILE% \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Network \ Downloader \ qmgr * .dat"

   et appuyez sur Entrée

9. Type

   cd / d% windir% \ system32

   et appuyez sur Entrée . Cela changera votre répertoire. Nous faisons cela parce que nous devons réenregistrer un grand nombre de fichiers BITS et Windows.

10. Tapez regsvr32 . exe atl.dll et appuyez sur Entrée.
    
11. Maintenant, vous devez enregistrer un grand nombre de fichiers. Nous allons vous donner une liste de commandes. Tapez-les simplement un par un et appuyez sur Entrée après avoir tapé chaque commande. 12. Une fois terminé, vous devez réinitialiser le Winsock. Tapez netsh winsock reset et appuyez sur Entrée
13. Tapez netsh winhttp reset proxy et appuyez sur Entrée
14. Maintenant, nous devons redémarrer tous les services que nous avons arrêtés au début de cette section.
15. Tapez les bits de démarrage net et appuyez sur Entrée
16. Tapez net start wuauserv et appuyez sur Entrée
17. Tapez net start appidsvc et appuyez sur Entrée
18. Tapez net start cryptsvc et appuyez sur Entrée

Maintenant, redémarrez et essayez à nouveau d'installer les mises à jour Windows

Méthode 2: modifier les paramètres de Windows Update

Bien que nous ne sachions pas pourquoi la modification de certains paramètres spécifiques à partir du panneau Paramètres de Windows résout ce problème, cela semble fonctionner pour de nombreux utilisateurs. Suivez donc les étapes ci-dessous pour modifier les paramètres de mise à jour à partir de Windows Update.

1. Maintenez la touche Windows enfoncée et appuyez sur I  pour ouvrir l' application Paramètres .
2. Cliquez sur Mise à jour et sécurité
   
3. Cliquez sur Options avancées
   
4. Décochez l'option Me donner les mises à jour pour d'autres produits Microsoft lorsque je mets à jour Windows

Remarque: dans certains cas, vous ne pourrez peut-être pas modifier ce paramètre (comme vous pouvez le voir, il est désactivé pour moi). Vous devriez simplement passer à la méthode suivante si c'est le cas

C'est ça. Une fois terminé, votre problème devrait être résolu.

Méthode 3: modifier les paramètres du proxy

Changing the proxy settings has worked for a lot of users. Since the problem can be caused by ISP’s corrupt cache, changing the proxy settings works. Although the usual way of changing the proxy is to change it via the Windows Settings page. But that page doesn’t work for every user. A lot of users mentioned that it doesn’t update the Proxy settings. However, you can still try to change the settings via the Windows Settings. If that doesn’t work then move to the next section within this method. The second section requires command prompt so that might be a bit technical for a lot of users. So, we will advise you to use the Windows Settings first because there’s no need to deep into the command prompt if you can solve the issue with just a few licks.

Follow the steps given below to change the proxy settings via the Windows Settings

1. Hold the Windows key and press I to open the Settings app.
2. Select Network & Security
   
3. Click Proxy from the left pane.Open the Proxy Settings
4. Turn On the option Use a proxy server
5. Type the Proxy Server IPAddress and Port number
6. Click Save and try again.

If the above steps didn’t solve the issue then do the following:

1. Press the Windows key, type command prompt in the Windows Search box.
2. Right-click command prompt from the search results and select Run as administrator
   
3. Type netsh winhttp show proxy and press Enter
4. This will show you the current proxy settings
5. Now, you have to change the proxy settings via command prompt
6. Type

   netsh winhttp set proxy proxy-server=”your address”:”port number”

   and press Enter. Type the Proxy server IP address in your address part and type the port number in the port number part. Don’t forget to remove the quotes as well. In the end, it should look like this

   netsh winhttp set proxy proxy-server=123.154.165.11:8080

This should change your proxy settings and your Windows updates should work fine.

Method 4: Change Windows Update Service

Setting the Windows Update Service to Delayed Startup has been fruitful for a lot of users as well. So, if nothing else works then you should give this a go as well.

1. Hold Windows key and press R to open Run box command
2. Type services.msc and press Enter
   
3. Locate and double click the Windows Update service.
4. Select Delayed Start from the drop-down menu in Startup Type
5. Click Start if the Service Status is stopped
6. Click Apply then select Ok

Once done, try to update the Windows. It should work fine now.

Method 5: Remove Temporary files

If any of the updates got corrupted while in the downloading phase, then your system may show the Windows Update error 0x8024402f. This usually happens when new updates, which are being installed either get corrupt or are interrupted either manually by the user or because of network problems. In this case, we will try to remove the temporary files in your system. When the system notices that these files are missing, it will automatically replace the files.

1. Delete the temporary files of your system.
2. Now run the updates to check if you can update the system without any issue.

Method 6: Try Another Network or Use VPN

ISPs use different techniques to control web traffic and safeguard their users. Also, they create a cache for the webpages/files visited/downloaded by users again and again. If your ISP is creating the problem, then trying another network may solve the problem. You can also use a VPN. Moreover, you can use your mobile phone’s hotspot to connect your system to the Internet.

1. Connect to another network or Use VPN (not recommended). If you are going to use your mobile phone’s hotspot, then keep an eye on the size of the update to be downloaded.
2. Now run the Windows update to check if it can be completed without any issue.

Method 7: Change DNS of Your System

Your network’s DNS values can cause errors with Windows Update. Domain Name System is the main component when connecting with remote addresses. It resolves the said URL to a specific IP address which is then forwarded to different ports for the establishment of the connection. Here, we can try changing to a public DNS server like Google DNS may solve the problem. 

1. Change the DNS server for your network.
2. Now check if you can update your system without any issue.

Method 8: Check Your Hardware/Router Firewall

If nothing has helped you so far, then it is time to check your router’s/hardware firewall as these are known to apply different techniques to safeguard and route traffic. These settings can cause the Windows update 0x8024402f error.

As there are a lot of makes and models of the routers/hardware firewalls, it is practically impossible to give guidelines relating to every piece of hardware. But general guidelines are as under (you can find details in the manual of your device):

1. Disable AMP service of Meraki Firewall.
2. Disable ActiveX blocking/filtering feature of your router.
3. Add microsoft.com and microsoftupdate.com to the whitelist of your router/hardware firewall.
4. Update firmware of your device to the latest.
5. Reset your modem/router/gateway/router to their default settings.

If none of the above methods work, you can try installing a fresh version of Windows altogether. This will remove all the corrupt files present. If you install an older version of Windows, consider checking for updates immediately.
